Please read the notice below that outlines some tips and info for the day of the show. This will really help to make the day run smoothly.
There are two great opportunities at the show this year! One is a draw for a gift basket so be sure to write your name on a the paper provided for your chance to win. The other is a donation box for the Rwandese Orphanage that I have been partnering with. They have 60 amazing kids orphaned from the genocide and do it all with out any incoming aid.

Photo Day Sunday June 12th
Schedule
It's wonderful when all students are able to attend photo day, but if you will not be able to please inform either Dana or Jeannie before the day so we don't wait for you to arrive. If you need your hair done for you please come 30 min before your time slot (everyone's hair should be in a slick bun). Otherwise please arrive 15 min before your time slot to get your accessories.
In order to alleviate the noise and chaos of past photo days we will be asking the parents and younger students to get ready and wait in the boardroom. Only students will enter the studio for pictures as per the photographer's request.
Photo Day is held at the studio. See you there :)

'Cinderella' Year End Show Information
Once your dancer is dropped off at the Stage Door for rehearsal, they will be staying backstage until the end of the show. They will be very well taken care of by our backstage parents. We will provide coloring pages, videos, etc. to keep them occupied. If you want to send books, hand-held computer games, etc. along with your child, please make sure that their names are on them.
The children will require a small healthy snack. Please do not send any food/beverage that will mark or stain their costumes. We ask that you send only water for drinking. Some good examples of snacks would be cheese & crackers, bagels, green grapes, apple slices, carrot sticks, oatmeal cookies (no chocolate please - it stains). Please nothing dippy, drippy, greasy or messy.
Please drop your dancer off with a bag large enough to hold all of their items - coat, shoes, etc. so that nothing is misplaced backstage. With 100 or so kids backstage - some having to do very quick changes, it is not always easy to ensure that all the bits and pieces get where they need to go. Names in their shoes will help ensure that any misplaced ones will find their way back to you.
Please make sure that your dancer's nail polish, temporary tattoos, watches, earrings, etc. are removed prior to their arrival.
If you are not able to do your child's hair, there will be service available backstage. Please send $2 with your child to cover the cost of supplies used (gel, hairpins, hairnets, etc). Day old hair "sticks" better than clean hair - no need to wash their hair that morning.
We will be providing the stage makeup required (lipstick, blush) but request that your child bring their own eye makeup (light colored eyeshadow and black mascara).
For the parents new to recitals, it is tradition that at the end of the show, when your dancers are picked up, that they receive flowers from their biggest fans (that's you). Nothing elaborate required - just a little token bouquet.
Thank you everyone, enjoy the show!
